Super 8 Windsor is situated in Windsor, Nova Scotia, the gateway to Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, Evangeline Trail and the seat of historically significant Hants County. Windsor has taken its place in Canadian history as the birthplace of hockey. Windsor is also home to Howard Dill farms, cultivators of world record-sized pumpkins. We even celebrate a Pumpkin Festival each October in Windsor.

In the winter come to Windsor to experience the thrills of Ski Martock. With over 4.5 kilometres of area to ski, Ski Martock is the closest ski resort to Halifax. During the summer come experience a traditional rural farmer's fair at the Hants County Exhibition. Windsor is also a great place to start your trip to the beautiful, charming, Annapolis Valley.

Visitors may also visit Long Pond, where the first game of hockey was played. As early as 1800 the students from the King's College School for Boys (today's King's-Edgehill School) played "hurley on ice" in this location.
