Whether you ease on down green circles, cruise down the intermediate groomed runs or challenge yourself in our freestyle terrain, we have something for every skier and snowboarder. Rent some equipment and sign up for a class, try snowboarding and take an afternoon to see some wildlife on the cross-country ski trails. Between runs grab a cup of hot chocolate and curl up by the fireplace.
Ski Martock is the home of snowboarding in Atlantic Canada. With a variety of classes and lessons available, there is something for everyone from the beginner to the advanced snowboarder. One of Martock's many claims to fame is that it shaped the skills of professional snowboarder and 1998 and 2002 Olympian Trevor Andrew. Sarah Conrad also honed her skills at Ski Martock in Windsor, NS before going on to compete in half pipe at the '06 Torino Olympic Games.
Andrew and Conrad's success is no surprise, considering Martock was the first resort to purchase a Half Pipe grooming machine in 1996. Martock continues the tradition of developing young up-and-comers by providing freestyle terrain for every skill level. Start out on a Small(S) feature work up to one of our many Medium(M) features and when your skills are ready, maybe challenge yourself on one of our Large(L) jumps, boxes or rails.
Martock is proud of it’s reputation for the region’s best snowmaking and grooming. With 100% snowmaking on all trails, anytime is a great time to visit and ski or ride at Ski Martock. The downhill area has a quad chair lift and two T-bars. There is also a beginner's area with two rope tows and 5.5km of cross-country ski trails.
